What is Shaam Ki Chaay?
Shaam ki Chaay is an invite-only gathering hosted at our cozy Hauz Khas space overlooking the lake. It’s a relaxed mehfil where you:

Why we created this
Since 2017, The Social House has run one of India’s longest-running poetry gatherings, Poetry Storytelling aur Chai, with 600+ editions and countless artists who grew from our floor to the country’s biggest stages.
After all these seasons, something kept pulling us back, a feeling, a memory when everything began on a simple baithak, floor seating, and closed community. Eight years later, we realised we missed that, and maybe you did too.
That’s why we created Shaam ki Chaay, a room that feels like your ‘living room’
