The Social House Comedy Open Mic
A stage dedicated exclusively to comedy performers, this event welcomes fresh jokes, witty observations, and hilarious stories. Whether you’re a budding comic or a seasoned performer, bring your best punchlines and own the spotlight!
Terms and Conditions
- Slot will be confirmed only after successful payment through this website. First come, first served basis.
- This is a bringer based open mic. So each performer is required to bring one accompanying guest as a spectator, whose entry will be free.
- Each performer gets a fixed time (usually 5 minutes). Exceeding the time may result in mic cut-off.
- No hate speech, direct political propaganda, religious offence, or obscene/abusive content allowed. The organizer holds the right to stop the performance if it violates community standards.
- You can perform your content in Hindi, English, or a mix.
- The event may be photographed and recorded. By participating, you allow us to use your footage/photos for promotional purposes.
- If you have opted for a recorded video of your performance and your content includes anything offensive, hateful, or hurtful (as judged by the organizer/host), we reserve the full right to cancel the video delivery. In such cases, only 50% of the video recording fee will be refunded, and future performance opportunities at The Social House may be affected.
- If you do not show up at the venue on time (at least 30 mins before the event), your slot may be given to someone else. No refunds.
- Organizer holds the right to change the line-up, timing, or cancel the event due to unforeseen reasons. Efforts will be made to inform in advance.
- Respect performers. Avoid unnecessary heckling or interruptions. The host or organizer may request anyone to leave for misconduct.
- Slots or tickets once booked are non-transferable unless approved by the organizer.
- The purpose is to try new material. It’s not a competition or guarantee of future bookings.
- Open mic slots are unpaid. These are opportunities to test, learn and network.
- If you’re coming from outside Delhi, travel/stay expenses are on you. In case of cancellation from our side, only your ticket fee will be refunded—not your travel/accommodation cost.
